| The new X-Box scam! | | Yep, Microsoft have updated X-Box Live today as part of scam which screws over all their X-Box Arcade console customers!All my saved games are on the memory card which came with my console, it took me a long time to get that far on those games and I'm not willing to delete them.However, to be able to use the arcade console ever again, I MUST update it from X-Box Live with an update that is too big to fit on the memory card. In fact, the update takes up a whole memory card on it's own!Yet I am now unable to play games at all, even offline, unless I update and to do that I need to go out and buy a hard drive.It's a total scam. I have just lost every ounce of respect that I had for Microsoft, as far as I am concerned they are now just another scammer.and to think I could have bought a PS3 and played online for free. I'm even still paying for my X-Box Live Gold subscription yet I can't even use it! Microsoft have just screwed themselves over too, PS3 is the way to go and everyone knows it, hell most people have got one now and I don't blame them. My X-Box 360 arcade console is now just a useless lump of metal and plastic than cannot be used...for anything! | |
| | help! i need new lunch box ideas! | | hello all of my good friend's here at Mylot.i have two boys which i fix their lunch for them every school morning. i am lost for new ideas to put in their lunch boxes everyday. help! lol hot dogs, ham and cheese sandwiches and peanut butter sandwiches get old. lol then i also put a juice pouch, some chips and a snack cake down in their lunch box as well. or sometimes even sneak a box of raisins into it.so tell me, what else could i pack for their lunch besides a sandwich or a hot dog?thanks for sharing and have a beautiful day today! | |

| What are you doing with your tax refunds? | | Are you getting a refund this year? Do you have plans for it?Last year we used up all our taxes with moving and buying a car. It all went to important things.This year, we'll need to buy another car. My van that we've had for 2 years (we bought it used for $1200) has died and we'll need to replace it. We'll also have to fix up our Durango a little bit, but that shouldn't be too much. We'll also have to catch up on bills... as usual. We'd like to try to save a little of our tax money to take a short trip down to New York City. We said we were going to do it last year, but then we used all the tax money and couldn't save any for the trip. This year it's even more important because in May my oldest son will turn 13, but we can't really do a party for him. We thought a trip to NY and seeing the Yankees would be a great birthday present. Other than that we're going to spend the rest of the money on little things we need but can't always afford to buy. I need new running shoes, the ones I have were bought at Walmart and they're already falling apart. This time I'm going to get good ones, like Nike. I also need new clothes. I do not own 1 single pair of pants that... | |
